MKP Inc. was founded in January 2003 by Kris Pederson, President. She has over 15 years experience in the education and training arena with corporate, non-profit, and volunteer organizations. Kris brings an energetic, motivational, humorous, and highly interactive approach to the learning experience. As a former Management Development Instructor for Fred Meyer Stores, she has performed training needs assessments, developed and written course materials, trained over six thousand employees, and continually strives to improve her facilitation and presentation skills. Kris is in high demand as a presenter and motivational speaker and her passion for training others led to the formation of MKP Inc. She says: “It amazes me that I found the name for the company out of my personal initials (MKP) — incorporating Motivation, Knowledge, and Potential as the cornerstone of the company.”
Our Courses
Our courses are focused on changing behavior and improving performance, providing motivation and knowledge that participants can use in their personal and professional lives to help them realize their full potential. We are continually studying, reading, and incorporating the most recent management and leadership information and tools into our courses. Our main objective is to create courses that incorporate experiential learning. Every course delivers tips, techniques, processes, and methods, immediately followed by “hands-on” activities, exercises, and role plays — adults learn best by combining visual, auditory, and kinesthetic styles within the learning environment.
